Let’s see…
- I’m 26. Human years.
- I hope to be a pastor someday. Youth, college, or otherwise.
- When it comes to regular blogging, I’m a complete #fail.
- I’ve been married almost 7 years.
- I’ve got a kid on the way (boy…name is yet to be revealed).
- I try my best not to self-promote.
- I became a Christian as a freshman in high school. At a Benny Hinn conference (Yep…thank God that he works in spite of guys like Hinn).
- I went to school to be a pastor and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Religion from Vanguard University.
- I’m convinced that the entirety of Scripture points to Christ and that this should be reflected in the Church’s preaching.
- I have a dog named Ace and a cat named Lola.
- I love to read, talk, and debate theology…and believe doing so is necessary to one’s sanctification.
- I believe the entirety of Christian living must be initiated and rooted in God’s grace, through Jesus’ death on the cross.
- I want to go to seminary so I can learn Greek and Hebrew (among other things).
- I would not reject a free iPad 2.
- I work for Seoul USA/.W; a nonprofit operating in the dual realms of serving the persecuted church and consulting with other nonprofits.
- I live in Colorado Springs, CO.
- I like romantic comedies.
- …because I love my wife (and, also, because I actually like a lot of them).
- Chipotle is my friend.
- Dr. Pepper is family.
Any questions?

Jesse,
I’m a lot like you. I’ve been running a blog inconsistently for years. I got my BA in theology from Sterling College. 29, happily married, kids, addicted to Chipotle. I’m starting The Master’s Seminary in Sun Valley, CA in August. My prayer for you is that God will provide the means for you to do the same as well.
God bless you!
Thanks, Anthony. I appreciate that. It’s always nice to find others who are growing in similar ways (and addicted to the same foods!).
I hope that, during your time at seminary, you come to a fuller knowledge of the width, depth, and breadth of God’s grace and become well-equipped in proclaiming that in every area over which God has made you steward.
